Roger Ricks has a message for us all and an incredible sound to back it up! Listen to him jam out on his guitar as he gives you some important insight on what can be done for the upcoming election.
It’s important to listen to his gentle, powerful vocals that sing along with his handmade guitar. The oneness portrayed in his voice is the oneness we need in the USA Today.
As we hear the opening lines of his song:
This is a nightmare
Time to change this and to repair
The broken dishes, empty wishes, promises that are only hot air
– Roger Ricks
It makes us think of the world today and how possibly broken some aspects have become. There was a time, between the 70s and 2000s where USA felt much more alive; we were thriving, learning, evolving, and having fun existing!
Today, what have we done? We understand there was a President of the United States back in the day, but according to Roger Ricks and his belief, we are unable to compromise well when it comes to choosing who controls our nation, where we live, and where we exist.
Ricks isn’t the only one with a message about Donald Trump & the upcoming election. In recent news, former president Back Obama spoke out directly in opposition of Trump’s Administration.
Even though Roger Ricks isn’t from America, he is asking USA to make the “right choice” when it comes to voting. It’s apparent that our decisions do effect other countries and other nations where beings live and exist.
Before we even continue with our beliefs, why don’t we see what our talented Rock star has to say:

As a European, it is incomprehensible how someone can be President of the United States who obviously lies, makes racist statements, is misogynist and disregards moral and ethical principles. Every day you read the most impossible things in the newspaper. But because I’m not a US American and therefore can’t vote, I thought about how I could be part of the change we need. Music is something connecting and has the power to break up established structures. My hope in the song is that the message of it will spread and move citizens of the United States to vote. They should speak out against the lies, against the division of society and for an equal future. We don’t need leaders who divide society into two camps, but we need people at the top who can unite. They should make sure that not only the rich get richer, but that structures are established which will enable a dignified future for the poorer part of the society.

Four years ago I was shocked when I woke up in Zurich in the morning and heard from the news that Donald Trump had indeed been elected. My fears were fulfilled and therefore my appeal: USA don’t do it again. I don’t want to see another 4 years of someone at the top who spreads hate but someone who will make the USA appear again in the glory they deserve.
Roger Ricks started building his own guitars “to create this unique sound that couldn’t be more personal.” (below)

Roger’s Sound is truly unique and full of the power and emotion he speaks about.
And now, you know why. He builds guitars… beautiful guitars! His music sounds like he’s one with his instrument, and that’s definitely the reason.

Nonetheless,
Ricks’ #MOOD
is this song below for #NewMusicFriday
Listen along while you read the lyrics for an experience.
“USA DON’T DO IT AGAIN”
This is a nightmareTime to change this and to repair
The broken dishes, empty wishes and promises that are only hot air
Wake up and rub your eyes
Fake news are just his disguise
Twitter is a bitter pill his stupid tweets pure even will
Hey, ladies damn, how can you vote for a “grab em by the pussy” man
Hey, folks, how can you think he cares he only deals with millionaires
Please USA
Don’t do it again (no, no, no, no, no)
You can decide against the lies
Hate, rush, and derision die
The stars shall shine again like the night sky
Please don’t do it again
The lies are too obvious
This is not even mysterious
Using provocation to distract from the main action …
Are you serious?
Under these circumstances
Open your eyes and face this
Tears down the wall, with the wrecking ball, take your chances
Hey, ladies damn, how can you vote for a “grab em by the pussy” man
Hey, folks, how can you think he cares he only deals with millionaires
Please USA
Don’t do it again (no, no, no, no, no)
You can decide against the lies
Hate, rush, and derision die
The stars shall shine again like the night sky
Please don’t do it again
– Roger Ricks
